Nonprofit Participation Pledge
PLEDGE BETWEEN INNERGIVING AND INVITED ORGANIZATIONS
PURPOSE
The purpose of this pledge is to establish shared expectations between participating nonprofit organizations and Innergiving. It affirms a mutual commitment to contribute mission-aligned, high-quality content that supports individual wellbeing, learning, and understanding, while protecting trust within the Innergiving ecosystem. This pledge exists to ensure that participation, evaluation, and recognition are grounded in integrity, transparency, and meaningful contribution.
GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Participation in Innergiving is guided by the following principles:
Trust First Trust is the foundation of the Innergiving ecosystem. Content should inform, support, and empower individuals without manipulation, sensationalism, or undue pressure.
Contribution Over Promotion Innergiving is not a marketing platform. Content is shared to educate, inspire, and inform — not to advertise, solicit, or compete for attention.
Equity of Opportunity All nonprofits participate as Ecosystem Contributors and are evaluated using the same transparent framework, with funding eligibility determined by quarterly contribution performance rather than tenure or status.
Sustainability The ecosystem is designed to balance broad access with long-term viability, ensuring that recognition and funding can be sustained responsibly over time.
NONPROFIT COMMITMENTS
By participating in Innergiving, nonprofit organizations agree to:
Contribute Mission-Aligned Content Share content that is consistent with the organization’s exempt purpose and aligned with Innergiving’s focus on wellbeing, learning, meaning, and care.
Uphold Content Integrity Ensure that content is accurate, respectful, and presented in good faith, without misleading claims or manipulative framing.
Respect the Member Experience Avoid excessive promotion, solicitation, or messaging designed primarily to drive donations, traffic, or conversions.
Engage Consistently and Thoughtfully Contribute content with reasonable consistency over time, recognizing that sustained participation supports both individual members and the broader ecosystem.
Use Tools Responsibly Utilize Innergiving’s AI-assisted publishing tools as a support mechanism, with appropriate human oversight and accountability.
EVALUATION & RECOGNITION
All participating nonprofits are evaluated quarterly based on transparent criteria, including content quality, member engagement, consistency, and diversity of content types.
Rankings reset each quarter.
Funding distributions, when available, are allocated according to defined percentile groupings rather than fixed designations.
Participation does not guarantee funding in any given quarter.
This evaluation process exists to recognize meaningful contribution, not to rank organizational worth or mission importance.
INNERGIVING COMMITMENTS
Innergiving commits to:
Maintaining transparency around evaluation criteria and funding allocation
Distributing nonprofit funding as part of its operating model, not as charitable donations
Protecting the ecosystem from advertising, algorithmic manipulation, or extractive practices
Evolving the platform and policies thoughtfully as the ecosystem grows
Treating nonprofit partners with respect, dignity, and fairness
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By participating in Innergiving, nonprofit organizations acknowledge that:
Participation is voluntary and non-exclusive
Funding allocations are performance-based and subject to change
Innergiving retains discretion to refine evaluation methods in service of fairness and sustainability
This pledge is intended to guide participation, not to create entitlement or guarantee compensation
SHARED INTENTION
This pledge reflects a shared intention to build something different — an ecosystem where knowledge is shared generously, trust is protected intentionally, and recognition flows from real contribution.
By participating, nonprofits affirm their commitment to that vision.
