đź“– The Soul of Innergiving: Founder's Story
Ken Hunt, Founder
From Armor to Essence
There once was a little boy who learned too soon that the world was not always safe. At just five years old, he faced a moment so shattering that he armored up without knowing it. His heart, wild and tender, was wrapped in layers of performance, perfection, and protection. To be good, to be needed, to be strong—this became his silent vow. And so began his long walk through the world with a mask that smiled while the soul quietly ached.
He rose. In business, in leadership, in life. He achieved, impressed, and pushed past every obstacle. But inside, a quiet voice whispered: There’s more. A longing for connection, for peace, for truth—buried beneath decades of drive and denial—waited patiently.
Then, the body spoke. A heart condition—literal and symbolic—brought everything to a halt. The triple bypass surgery wasn’t just medical, it was transformational. It marked the beginning of a second journey—not one of ascent, but descent. Into the heart. Into the past. Into the conditioned imprints long buried. And there, among the fragments of a forgotten self, the hero began to listen and reconnect.
Through therapy, mindfulness, somatic coaching, stillness, nature, breath, and the sacred unraveling of truth, he peeled away the layers. Grief came. Rage. Sadness. Relief. And finally—love. Not the kind you earn or win, but the kind that is. He met the boy inside. He gave him back his voice.
And slowly, the hero became whole. Not by becoming someone new—but by finally becoming himself.
Today, he stands not as a warrior in armor, but as a guide with open hands. He is building something new—Innergiving—a platform where giving is not charity but reciprocity, where generosity includes the self, and where transformation flows through every act of service. He no longer hides his gifts. He leads with vulnerability, speaks with authenticity, and lives with a reverence earned through fire.
This is not the end of his story. It is the beginning of one rooted in truth.
He is not here to conquer.
He is here to connect.
He is not chasing legacy.
He is living it.
The Discovery: Unearthing the Gold Within
The gold of this journey was rediscovering the silent, scared little boy within—shaped by fear, rejection, and a nervous system wired to protect, not trust. That awareness changed everything. No longer driven by unconscious patterns, he now makes choices from a place of presence and truth. The fears still come, but he meets them with compassion instead of avoidance.
His deep longing for love and connection never left—he had just lost touch with his own desires. Through healing, he's learned to attract what aligns with his truth, not his trauma.
Since his surgery, his view of “work” has radically shifted. It’s no longer about money or titles, but meaning, impact, and financial freedom. He’s building a conscious business that proves you can do well and do good.
It’s been a long unraveling. But now, a new life is emerging—one grounded in authenticity, purpose, and the freedom to finally live as who he truly is.
The Emergence: The Birth of Innergiving
The seed of Innergiving was planted years ago—as a vision for a wellness community, a gathering place for meditation, connection, and healing. But at the time, he wasn’t ready. Life invited him deeper.
As he worked alongside both nonprofits and for-profits, a pattern emerged: while the mental health crisis is universal, nonprofits—many offering critical support—were constantly battling for funding. That struggle became a calling.
Blending his background in finance with his own inner healing, he reimagined Innergiving—not just as a platform, but as a movement. One that raises awareness and delivers equitable, trust-based funding. A model where organizations gain visibility and receive unrestricted support from a large community of micro-donors. No more scarcity-driven competition—just sustainable, value-aligned support.
Innergiving was born to bridge the gap between generosity and wellbeing, restoring power to those doing some of the most important work in the world.
Innergiving is an Invitation—To Learn, To Grow, and To Give
It’s a movement rooted in the belief that personal healing and collective impact go hand in hand. Explore mental health resources from trusted organizations, deepen your own inner journey in whatever way resonates with you, and join a community committed to creating lasting change.
With a recurring commitment of $20 per month (no restrictions), together we can fund vital nonprofits, shift lives, and unlock $100 million of impact over five years.
This isn’t just about giving money. It’s about giving yourself the chance to grow—and giving the world what it needs most: people doing the inner work, together.
